About Tjäreholmen
If you want to be completely alone, or have dogs running loose, Tjäreholmen is the best option. However, the island is not that far from land, about 70 meters.
The island is located on the western part of Stor-Ringsjön. Here you have close access to the great depths, and with that said, a chance of catching some bigger fish. However, if you just want to be on the island in peace and quiet, the fishing is not too bad from land either. In the strait between the island and the mainland, there is usually a lot of activity on the fish. There are many species swimming in the lake, but the most common ones to catch are trout, perch, pike and grayling.

General information
* On the day of arrival you have access to the cottage at 12:00. On the day of departure you must be out of the cottage at 11:00 so that the next guest has access.
(Please contact us to check the situation around your booking. Sometimes it is possible to get earlier access/departure)
* You are responsible for cleaning the cabins upon departure. Leave the cabin in the same condition as it was upon your arrival.
Please take photos of the cottage upon arrival and send them to us, so we can see how it was left by the previous guest.
(If you have not cleaned, or have been careless with the cleaning, you will be charged a cleaning fee of 2000 SEK)
* When booking a cottage, a boat with oars is included. Please contact us if you would like to rent a motor. Both electric and petrol motors are available.
* Fishing licenses in the area are purchased via ifiske .
* Be careful if you use the gas stove/gas refrigerator. Instructions for these are available in the cottage.
